Although taking a daily vitamin is convenient, it may not be the best way to get the most out of your supplement routine. Nutrients that enter our systems orally don’t reach our cells and tissues at their full potency. That’s because everything we eat or take orally is first digested, then passed through the bloodstream to the liver, where its strength may be further diluted.
There are better ways to get nutrients other than oral supplements, like IV and injection therapies.
IV therapy delivers vitamins, nutrients, and other substances from a drip bag through a needle placed into a person’s vein. IV therapy takes 30 to 60 minutes or longer, depending on the treatment.
Injection therapy is quick, convenient, and less invasive. Instead, your treatment comes from a needle inserted into a muscle. The injection contains a single dose of a medication, vitamin, mineral, or supplement, and it may be contained in a single syringe.
This type of treatment is over quickly—in about 5 minutes. Injection therapy is highly effective, more cost-effective, and works quickly.
Neurotransmitters control how nerve cells throughout your body communicate with each other, and all of them require vitamin B-12. B-12 fights sluggishness, fatigue, and brain fog. It’s crucial for producing red blood cells. Converting nutrients into glucose requires healthy levels of B-12, and you need plenty of B-12 to produce mood-managing neurotransmitters in the brain. B-12 also helps produce and maintain the insulation of nerve cells in your brain and spine.
Inositol, a carbohydrate that helps insulin work correctly, also improves the effectiveness of serotonin and dopamine within the brain. These neurochemicals control our moods, particularly our ability to feel calm. Inositol also regulates hormones. Inositol may also reduce brain fog and improve mental focus. Vitamin B-6 is required for steady and stable production of neurotransmitters, hormonal regulation, and a healthy immune system.
Our cells consume nutrients and produce energy, but that process can lead to byproducts called free radicals, highly reactive chemicals that must be removed. Free radicals damage cells and tissues and can lead to premature aging. Antioxidants remove these toxins and there’s no better antioxidant than glutathione. Vitamin D-3 and zinc are both heavily used by the immune system. They’re also necessary for reducing inflammation and supporting good cardiovascular health.
Vitamin D3 is responsible for many functions of the immune system, such as activating T cells to kill viruses and other disease-causing agents and regulating the inflammation in the airways caused by colds and flu. NAC (N-Acetyl Cysteine) is one of the building blocks of glutathione, but it’s also an effective antioxidant on its own. NAC may also improve immune health, thin mucous, reduce airway inflammation, and help to make breathing easier. Zinc improves wound healing and is vital for producing antibodies, a healthy supply of which can fight off illness and prevent it from taking hold. Vitamin C is essential for the regeneration of proteins such as collagen and works closely with zinc in the immune system.
Glutathione improves skin health and appearance from the inside. can help brighten skin while evening out skin tone. It purges toxins from skin tissues, helping to give you healthier, younger looking skin, while supporting the growth of healthy young collagen.
